Fundamentals of emptiness (v) - Repeat (ii) - And a question
Although all things, including my own body displayed directly to my senses as being inherently or actually existing in reality my body and all things are not, or are empty of true existence. My body, like everything else, is a mere appearance in the mind, as a body seen in dreams.
Like a body seen in a dream, my body is a mere appearance of the separate existence of mind without the mind, a mere projection of the mind no existence outside the mind, a mere appearances to mind that is totally dependent of mind for their existence.
Question: But why should we believe, or rather, what There is evidence to believe that things have no real existence - rather than simply admit that there really as they appear to the senses?
