Hoyos - the Marilyn Monroe Mexican (apparently that's what Canadians said).
5 Alejandra Guzman - Mexico's Janis Joplin.
6 Leon, that of Zoe - the Mexican Jim Morrison (the idea is not very popular, but the spontaneity of thought I liked: read it here). Also
7 Saul Hernandez - the Jim Morrison / Bob Marley / John Lennon / Robert Smith Mexican. Los Caifanes are, by extension, the Mexican Cure.
8. Café Tacuba - the Mexican Radiohead. The research showed that Nerv, an unknown band from Monterrey, also deserved the epithet.
9. The Tri / Los Tigres del Norte - the Rolling Stones Mexicans (some genius said it happened in reverse, "the Rolling Stones are El Tri England).
10. Rockdrigo - Bob Dylan Mexico.
Bonus track: Chabeloesdios - the Sufjan Stevens Mexican (idiotic, as we all know is the Ian Curtis / Robert DeNiro / Wayne Coyne Mexican).
